Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS‑CoV‑2) is a strain of coronavirus that causes COVID-19, the respiratory illness responsible for the COVID-19 pandemic
Influenza is a highly contagious, acute, viral infection of the respiratory tract. The causative agents of the disease are immunologically diverse, single-strand RNA viruses known as influenza viruses. There are three types of influenza viruses: A, B, and C. Type A viruses are the most prevalent and are associated with most serious epidemics. Type B viruses produce a disease that is generally milder than that caused by type A. Type C viruses have never been associated with a large epidemic of human disease. Both type A and B viruses can circulate simultaneously, but usually one type is dominant during a given season. Influenza antigens may be detected in clinical specimens by immunoassay. The Influenza A&B Antigen Rapid Test Kit is a lateral flow immunoassay using highly sensitive monoclonal antibodies that are specific for influenza antigens. The test is specific to influenza types A and B antigens with no known cross reactivity to normal flora or other known respiratory pathogens.
Store as packaged in the sealed pouch at room temperature or refrigerated (2-30℃). The test is stable through the expiration date printed on the sealed pouch. The test must remain in the sealed pouch until use. DO NOT FREEZE. Do not use beyond the expiration date.
Clinical Care Supplies is a leading distributor of test kits, POCT and medical equipment from leading manufacturers and research developers in the clinical and home test sector.
We stock home use products and professional products that should only be used by qualified health care staff, and in a clinical environment such as a test centre or health centre.
As with all medical conditions, if you suspect you are suffering from a condition and use a test provided by us, it is always best to consult with your local doctor or health provider, and if you use a test and obtain a positive result then you must seek medical advice immediately.
We can recommend test centres with leading edge technology and test analysers who use our range of test kits, whereby they can give a professional service for blood analysis and qualitative results. Remember that some test kits can only be administered in a professional environment, so there are certain tests that you will need the services of a recommended test centre.
Our kits are available as part of a test service, or multiple pack or bulk trade packs.
We have "Test Centre Packs" available, whereby test kit analysers such as urine, immunochromatic/assay, POCT etc. are presented in a pack with all the test kits, consumables, containers, reagents, diluents and instruction leaflets. Plus we give you full training, and we provide posters and leaflets to advertise your services.
There are videos and downloads available for the various product ranges, please enquire with your requirements.
Many of our products are available on a test or presentation basis for commercial clients who may wish to review the products and operational parameters.
